Current Job Openings

The 411 House is seeking a highly motivated and relational Programs Director to plan, coordinate and lead programs for our youth. This individual will function as the primary leader for our young men by being an upstanding role model, encourager, and mentor. He/she will create a community and atmosphere with our kids that aligns with our core values and mission statement.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, finalizing and executing details of our programs calendar to include 1-2 weekly events, 1 monthly field trip, quarterly family celebrations and 1-2 summer camp experiences
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with our youth, families & volunteers and coordinate with them to participate in our programs
  • Mentoring & encouraging youth both individually and in a group setting. This includes activities at the house as well as school visits and attendance at extracurricular activities
  • Meeting with, empowering and training our volunteer mentors to come alongside our youth in a Godly manner
  • Leading our youth spiritually, disciplining them, and holding them accountable to our values
  • Cultivating relationships in the community and representing The 411 House

The ideal candidate will possess a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, a passion for youth, a teachable spirit, and a desire to collaborate with our staff, volunteers and Board of Directors. The Programs Director will also be a creative problem solver and a team player, and will consistently display a high degree of organization, a curious mind, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some public speaking is required as well. This position will report to the Executive Director.

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred with demonstrated organizational abilities and computer proficiency in Outlook, Word & Excel specifically. 3-5 years experience working with youth. Must have reliable transportation and a valid Texas Drivers License.

Compensation ranges from $40,000-$50,000 based on qualifications and experience. 401k, health benefits, and partial phone reimbursement included.
